These are the individuals who are destined to bring drastic changes in the life of people with no hope, One such is the personality of Prof (Dr) Manu Prasad S.

Prof (Dr) Manu Prasad S is an eminent surgeon, who has specialization in the field of craniofacial, cleft and aesthetic surgery .His cumulative approach towards work has bought him appreciation from most of the renowned and famous surgeons who are popular faces in both national and international domains.

Having performed over three thousand five hundred surgeries so far in his career, Dr.Manuprasad is still enthusiastic and passionate about crafting smiles and becoming the reason behind it. For more than ten plus years since then, his work has been considered exemplary bringing him many international awards and recognitions. He has implicated himself in many projects, serving cleft kids and spreading awareness about the same.

With skill and compassion, Dr.Manuprasad treats his patients with a comprehensive approach, taking care to listen to their individual concerns and providing them with specific customized solutions. His friendly and approachable demeanor puts his patients at ease and his expertise and perfectionism ensures excellent results

He has authored many books which has been published in some of the best publications and journals gaining him international reputation.

His recent project- Swasthya is his incipient step for thousands of cleft affected destitute kids across the country

  • Dr Manu has been Nominated as the “LEADING HEALTH PROFFESIONALS of the WORLD – 2013” by International Biographical Centre -    UK.
  • He has been elected as the Executive Committee member of Karnataka State Chapter AOMSI for the Year 2014-15.
  • Currently ,Dr Manu Prasad holds the position of Center Director – DCKH( Germany ) project Mysore.
  • He is the Head of the Department of ” Centre for Cleft Services” at St.Joseph’s Hospital Mysore.
  • He is the youngest national faculty and a panelist in the aesthetic and craniofacial sessions of the National Conference of the Association of    Maxillofacial surgeons of India.
  • He holds the position of an Associate professor at Farooqia Dental College where he teaches undergraduates and postgraduates.

    I met Dr. Manu Prasad in 2013 when we worked together on a cleft surgery project in Ngaoundere, Cameroon. I have known him as an extremely gifted and passionate surgeon, a lovely and trustworthy college and a good friend.
    I very much appreciated the opportunity to work with him again in 2015: At his cleft centre at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mysore, I was really impressed with his interdisciplinary approach, combining surgery, dentistry, orthodontics, anaesthesiology, paediatrics, speech therapy and community medicine all under one roof. I wish him and his amazing project all the very best for the future.
